The Greenest Home

Here is the first greenesthome project. Having spent a lot of time consulting and refining ideas, this year I am bringing two demonstration homes to market, to illustrate how easy it is to build, and live, green.

While the buildings above look fairly traditional, they will have a 7.0 star energy rating, and we are working towards a net carbon neutral ongoing energy consumption.

Both are 3 bedroom 2 bathroom detached, single level homes. They will have a high quality fitout and excellent thermal performance. One house will be sold and the other will be kept to assess its performance over a year. In the attached pages, I’ll describe the process I went through to select the blocks and design and build the homes.

We have just dropped two underground concrete tanks in the front gardens and you can see how it all worked here.
